Preschool Program FAQ

What will they learn?

The program promotes independence while socializing in a positive sharing environment. Using their manners and listening skills, students learn to express their needs and wants. They will learn to recognize colors, numbers, letters/letter sounds, weather and seasons, rhyming, writing, matching, and learn about books. Activities include art projects, indoor and outdoor play areas, music, movement and exploring education through various forms of technology.

Where and when do I drop off and pick up my child?

The 3 year old (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) program drop off is at the white SAU portable adjacent to our main building at 9:00 AM and pick-up is at the same location at 11:30 AM. 
The 4 year old program (Monday- Friday) drop off is at the white SAU portable adjacent to our main building at 12:40 PM  and pick-up is at the same location at 3:20 PM. 
To ensure student safety 2 car placards are issued per family to display during car pick-up, if they are forgotten parents are required to come into the main office and show identification before picking up their child.

What is the schedule for Early Release and Delayed Openings?

In the event of a delayed school opening, there will NOT be school for the 3 year old program.

In the event of an early release, students who attend the 4 year old Preschool Program will NOT have school. 


Are there peanut free classrooms?

Yes, there are designated classrooms for those with a peanut allergy.

What does my child need to bring to school?

You will need to provide a backpack, lunch box with a snack and drink and weather appropriate change of clothes.

Is there a supply list for my child's teacher?

Any school supplies your child needs are provided by the school. Your child’s teacher may have a wish list and welcome donations. Please see specific classroom teacher websites.
